Session 2

Apprenticeships in the transformative agenda

10:45 – 12:00 (GMT+1)

Apprenticeships in the transformative agenda

The world of work is changing, fast, and everywhere. What role will apprenticeship play in this new landscape? If algorithms and artificial intelligence are doing most of the work, are apprenticeships still relevant? This Conference session will explore how to solve the skills and jobs mismatch with initiatives at the global level that facilitate international mobility and enable decent jobs in the future. The session will also look at the role of youth in shaping and designing apprenticeship models, and how they can become actors in the transformative agenda. The session is followed by a Q&A.
