Dr Nader Imani joined Festo, a global leader in automation and technical education, in 1992. He held different roles with Festo Didactic in Germany and acted as CEO of Festo Didactic US and Canada. Since 2014, in his role as Executive Vice President of Global Education, he is responsible for larger educational projects with an impact on socio-economic progress. Within the frame of his professional activities, Dr. Imani serves WorldSkills International since 2017 as a member of its Advisory Board on Skills Development in Africa. He has been acting as an active partner of the United Nations as well as bi- and multi-lateral development agencies to drive innovation in the field of TVET and industrial workforce development. Dr Imani holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Ecole Centrale de Nantes in France as well as qualification degrees from Harvard Business School in the US and St. Gallen Business School in Switzerland. Within the frame of his professional activities, Dr Imani serves WorldSkills International as a member of its Advisory Board on Skills Development in Africa since 2017.

Dr Luis Benveniste is the Global Director for Education at the World Bank. In his prior role, he was the Human Development Regional Director for Latin American and the Caribbean. He was a co-author of the World Development Report 2012: Gender Equality and Development. Dr Benveniste´s research interests focus on education financing, teacher policies and student assessment practices. Dr. Benveniste has previously worked on a wide variety of World Bank education projects in Africa, Latin America and the Caribbean, and East Asia and Pacific. He received a BA Magna Cum Laude in Psychology from Harvard University and a PhD in International Comparative Education from Stanford University.

Priscilla Gatonye is a Programme Officer for Inclusion and Youth at UNESCO-UNEVOC. She leads initiates aimed at enhancing equality and accessibility of skills training within TVET. She implements research and capacity building projects in various Inclusion and youth empowerment projects including, equity and gender equality in TVET, Youth entrepreneurship and employability, STEM in TVET, Career Guidance and Inclusion of refugees and migrants in TVET systems. Prior to joining UNEVOC, Priscilla was a Project Manager for TVET programs at the Delegation of German Industry and Commerce for Eastern Africa and formerly held several roles within African and EU regions. Priscilla is an international master trainer in vocational and work pedagogical knowledge, skills and abilities and holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of Nairobi, and M.Sc. in International Supply Chain Management from the University of Exeter, UK.

The bronze Medallist in Graphic Design Technology at WorldSkills Kazan 2019 is a WorldSkills Champions Trust representative in Asia for the term 2023-24. Shweta Ratanpura was the first Indian woman to bring back a WorldSkills medal. A graduate of Graphic Design from the National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad, she has interned and worked as a Designer at companies like Samsung and Google along with working as a freelancer with smaller studios and businesses.

In his role as technical director the AMTCE in Dundalk, Ireland, Michael McGrath manages the centres relationships with key industry leaders and stakeholders and drives the delivery of high-quality training programs which meet the needs of industry and address identified skills gaps both regionally and nationally. Michael McGrath has previously held a variety of technical leadership roles in the private sector including 21 years with Intel. Michael McGrath holds 9 patents with 12 pending, has over 40 peer reviewed publications and has published two books on sensor applications. Michael McGrath holds multiple post-graduate qualifications including a PhD in sensors and instrumentation from Dublin City University.
